I admit that, until today, I didn’t know this was a thing: slot machine influencers/YouTubers.
One of them, Brian Christopher (I dig that last name) is getting a space at the Plaza Casino in downtown Las Vegas — where he’ll curate a collection of his favorite slots.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal says Brian Christopher Slots at the Plaza will feature “games were chosen based on some of his videos most ‘iconic moments, and include Cleopatra II, Dollar Storm, Lightning Zap and Huff N Puff.” (What? No Wheel. Of. Fortune?)
The exhibit opens on Friday afternoon.

The area, titled “Brian Christopher Slots at the Plaza”, has launched with 16 of Brian’s favorite slot machines with more installing in coming weeks. Some of the titles include Cleopatra II, Dollar Storm, Lightning Zap, Huff N Puff. Plaza has launched a website to promote the new slot area which lists and shows Brian Christopher playing all 16 slots chosen for the gaming area.
Brian Christopher’s BC Slots YouTube channel is part of a growing category of channels where YouTubers record themselves playing actual slot machines on the casino floor. BC Slots has become the most subscribed and viewed YouTube channel in this category.

Donning a mask, Brian Christopher livestreamed his first video from the slot area Wednesday evening. As of Thursday morning, the hour and a half long video had garnered 80,000 views.
“Social media has transformed the casino experience, and we are very excited to partner with Brian on this unique space that I know our guests will enjoy,” said Jonathan Jossel, CEO of the Plaza Hotel & Casino.
“For years, my fans have been asking which games were my favorite, and now I finally have a place where they can experience it for themselves,” says Christopher. “The new Brian Christopher Slots at the Plaza is like having my own miniature casino. I hand selected the games that represent everything I love about playing slot machines,” said Brian Christopher in his usual upbeat way.
Brian Christopher has become an advocate for returning to casinos safely. He contributed a column to CDC that documented his journey of visiting over 20 casinos in 100 days in 2020 starting with the first major casino reopening in the United States following the nationwide shutdown in March.

Christopher is known for giving away “lucky wristbands” to fans who find him in a casino. Gamblers previously had to be in the right place at the right time to get this souvenir, which many believe bring them luck. To promote the the new slot area, players that earn just 100 points on their Plaza Rewards player’s card will receive the signed band, while supplies last.
